Vox, CGMC’s premier small ensemble, is a key part of our mission, outreach, and our overall organization. In addition to an annual concert, Vox performs frequently throughout the community.
Vox established its reputation as an advanced vocal ensemble, performing challenging literature, featuring complex vocal harmonies and a cappella arrangements. Vox is typically limited to a 16-member ensemble. In addition to performing with the Chorus, Vox often performs at numerous events outside of the performance schedule of the Chorus as well as its own concert. Auditions for Vox are conducted in September of each season. It is understood that placement in Vox requires yearlong participation in both the ensemble and Chorus.
